The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Math and Physics/Chemistry, or other related science subjects, along with the ability to inspire students through engaging lesson plans and innovative teaching methods. This role involves developing curriculum, managing classroom dynamics, and fostering a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and success. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Teach physics concepts, including but not limited to mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and wave phenomena. Incorporate relevant mathematical principles such as trigonometry, calculus, algebra, and differential equations into lessons. Utilize learning technology to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement. Manage small ratio of 3 students behavior effectively to create a conducive learning atmosphere. Provide individualized support through tutoring and mentoring to help students achieve their academic goals. Assess student performance through standardized testing and provide constructive feedback on their progress. Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum development and instructional design initiatives. Engage in continuous professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and research. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Math, Physics/Chemistry or a related field Proven experience in teaching Physics/Chemistry or related subjects at the high school or higher education level. Strong understanding of scientific research methodologies and laboratory practices, including organic chemistry, biochemistry, genetics, AP Chemistry Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively Be able to teach math up to Algebra 1
