Exempt Description:
A Middle School Math & Science Teacher is responsible for passionately providing instruction in the field of mathematics, advanced mathematics, promoting student progress, differentiated instruction, parent communication, and promoting and managing a safe, positive classroom environment.
Spiritual Qualifications:
Demonstrates a passion for Christ and his Kingdom through personal spiritual discipline and public ministry. Seeks to grow in that relationship with Christ through personal spiritual discipline, education, accountability and service to his Kingdom. Implements biblical integration into daily lessons.
Professional Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in math- or science-related field of study from an accredited university or college required Master's degree and/or California K-8 Teaching Credential desirable Ability to effectively teach multiple levels of mathematics and science Command of subject matter and ability to wisely engage students as demonstrated through quality experience desirable Ability to comply with both written and oral instructions Proficiency in maintaining efficient classroom management skills Proficiency in demonstrating effective organizational skills Self-motivated Desire to serve in co-curricular activities, such as athletics or arts, welcomed Obtain a certificate of negative result for TB screening before hire Cleared live scan background check
