After each live card break, the associate will sort cards by customer, verify that each buyer receives the correct cards, package orders securely, and prepare shipments for pickup. This position requires accuracy, efficiency, and careful handling, as some cards may be valuable or difficult to replace. The ideal candidate is comfortable performing repetitive, detail-focused work independently and can maintain a high level of accuracy while processing a large number of customer orders. Responsibilities Sort trading cards from completed live breaks according to the correct customer, team, character, category, or purchased spot. Carefully verify that each customer receives all cards included with their purchase. Protect cards using penny sleeves, top loaders, team bags, cardboard, bubble wrap, and other appropriate packaging materials. Package customer orders securely in envelopes, bubble mailers, or boxes based on the size and value of the shipment. Print and organize shipping labels using Whatnot or other order-management systems. Match each shipping label to the correct customer order before sealing the package. Perform final quality-control checks to prevent missing cards, incorrect orders, damaged cards, or mislabeled packages. Identify higher-value cards that require additional protection or special handling. Organize completed packages for carrier pickup or drop-off. Keep the packing and shipping area clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies. Track packaging supplies and notify management when additional materials are needed. Help organize incoming trading card products, shipping materials, and completed break inventory. Report damaged cards, order discrepancies, missing information, or other concerns before an order is shipped. Follow established packing procedures and meet required shipping deadlines. Assist with other order-fulfillment and inventory-related duties as needed. Requirements Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Dependable attendance and ability to arrive on time for scheduled shifts. Ability to work independently and remain focused while completing repetitive tasks. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to carefully handle trading cards and other collectible items. Comfortable using a smartphone, computer, printer, and basic shipping software. Basic reading and math skills for matching orders, counting cards, and verifying quantities. Ability to maintain an efficient pace without sacrificing accuracy. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and move boxes of cards and shipping supplies. Honest, responsible, and trustworthy when working around customer orders and valuable inventory. Willingness to learn trading card terminology, break formats, and company packing procedures. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with order fulfillment, e-commerce, packing, shipping, inventory, or warehouse operations. Familiarity with Whatnot or other live-selling platforms. Knowledge of sports cards, entertainment cards, collectible cards, or card-breaking businesses. Experience using penny sleeves, top loaders, team bags, card storage boxes, and other trading card supplies. Experience handling high-volume customer orders. What Success Looks Like in This Role A successful associate consistently ships orders on time, protects cards properly, keeps customer orders organized, and maintains an extremely low error rate. Accuracy is the highest priority, but the associate must also be able to work efficiently as order volume increases.
