We have openings for part time instructors to work with K-12 students improve in English, Math, Science, and History. We have a dynamic team environment where instructors have a unique opportunity to build strong relationships with students, and help change their lives! This is a highly rewarding opportunity to watch students grow into happy and successful young adults. Flexible work schedules with availability ranging from Monday to Friday 2:30pm to 7pm and Saturday/Sunday 10am to 3pm in our Temple City office. This is a great opportunity for college students and individuals who are in the midst of studying/preparing for graduate exams (MCAT, LSAT, GRE, GMAT, etc…), apply to graduate school , and be paid at the same time! This is also an excellent and flexible part time job for those who are in a transitional period of their lives and love working with students. Responsibilities and duties Instructors work with a small team of 1-5 students and help them with mastering academic subjects, build confidence, and have fun! Instructors will be in a positive environment where they have the support of the entire staff. Instructors are typically scheduled 5-15 hours a week. (This may be higher or lower depending on an instructor's availability and student demand). Qualifications and skills Proficient in high school English required. Proficient in at least algebra 1 or higher (geometry or higher preferred). Proficiency in any of the sciences (biology, physics, and/or chemistry) strongly preferred , but not necessary. Complete mastery of academic subjects is not required. The willingness to learn or review old subjects is highly preferred. Instructors will be scheduled in more if they know multiple subjects. Have the ability to give students a fun and valuable learning experience!
