- + A current teaching certification in the subject area you are applying for
- AND•are currently teaching or have taught in schools (public or private) within the last three years (including regular substitute) •OR•are or have been educators from colleges or universities who have taught or advised a content relevant field within the last three years •OR•hold a degree in the content area and have held professional employment in the content area within the last three years Both active and recently retired practitioners can be eligible to score.

- Working Conditions
- Training takes place before scoring begins. There may be a brief orientation meeting before the day of scoring occurs. Scoring sessions take place during the week Monday through Friday. Scoring sessions will occur on an intermittent basis, one day every 8 weeks. The scoring day runs from 8:30 a.m. to approximately 4:30 p.m., including training.
