Key Qualifications:

Current and active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching certificate in Science (pending or in-process applications will not be accepted) Previous experience teaching science at the middle school level is highly valued Strong classroom management and communications skills Ability to create engaging lesson plans and foster an enthusiasm for science Commitment to the academic success and well-being of every student

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver dynamic science instruction to 6th8th grade students, adapting lessons to accommodate different learning styles Develop and implement grade-appropriate curriculum based on state and school standards Prepare and grade assignments, labs, and assessments Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help each student achieve their potential Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and school staff Participate in school-based activities, professional development, and collaborative staff meetings Perks of this
