Key Qualifications:

Valid, active CDE Certificate (pending or incomplete certification cannot be considered) Background teaching Science within general education settings at the middle school level Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners Proven ability to collaborate with staff, students, and families Commitment to creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver dynamic science lessons aligned with curriculum standards for grades 6-8 Design and implement hands-on activities and experiments to deepen student understanding Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and adjust instruction as needed Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary projects and school-wide initiatives Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to support student success Foster a respectful and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity
