Description:
Birch Agency is seeking Middle School Science Teachers to join our team! We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Science Teachers to work in Stamford, CT for the 2026/2027 school year. As a Science Teacher, your responsibilities will include creating an engaging and interactive learning environment for students. You will teach various scientific concepts and theories, while also fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science and education, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to students.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards Teach various scientific subjects, such as biology, chemistry, physics, and environmental science Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles Conduct experiments and demonstrations to enhance student understanding Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and projects Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience

Experience:
Proven experience teaching science at the secondary level Strong knowledge of scientific concepts and theories Familiarity with instructional design principles and learning technologies Excellent classroom management skills Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners Strong communication and interpersonal skills Certifications Bachelor s degree in science CT Active state teaching license.
