Full-Time EDU-AIDs is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 7th Grade Science Teacher to support middle school students in West Haven, Connecticut .Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with Connecticut curriculum standards. Teach scientific concepts through classroom instruction, hands-on activities, and experiments. Assess student progress and provide additional academic support as needed. Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment. Apply effective classroom management strategies appropriate for middle school students. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to support student success. Maintain accurate student records and follow all school policies and procedures.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or a related field. Valid Connecticut teaching certification with the appropriate science endorsement for Grade 7. Strong knowledge of middle school science concepts and instructional practices. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Ability to engage and support students with diverse learning needs.
