Do you enjoy teaching? Performance? Science!? Science Guys of Atlanta is seeking contract Edutainers (Educator + Entertainer) to support our mission to inspire every child to love science!

Role Overview:

As a Science Edutainer, you will captivate audiences of all ages with engaging and interactive science demonstrations. Our performers travel across Atlanta and the surrounding area, bringing science to life in small-group school clubs all the way up to assembly-style shows with over a hundred kids.

Responsibilities:

Learn and perform shows and workshops from our catalog to entertain and educate audiences. Travel to schools, libraries, and other venues to deliver programs. Tailor presentation style to suit different age groups and learning styles. Maintain a fun and energetic atmosphere during performances to keep audiences engaged. Utilize classroom management skills to maintain a controlled and judgement-free atmosphere.

Qualifications:

Ability to pass a follicle drug screening required. Ability to pass a background check required. Ability to travel with a reliable vehicle and driver's license required. Flexible schedule. Passion for science and education. Creativity and a fun-loving attitude. Experience working with kids ages 3-12 in some capacity required.
