theCoderSchool is seeking passionate Code Coaches to empower the next generation of digital creators and problem-solvers. You'll connect with extraordinary kids, teach them not just how to code, but how to think algorithmically and develop their tech mindset. ⚡ 2pm-5pmAVAILABILITY REQUIRED
⚡We are specifically hiring coaches who can commit to our after school schedule of 2pm-5pm Monday through Friday, throughout the Fall and Spring. Coaches who can also continue with us during the school year will have additional hours available in our after-school programs (3-8 PM weekdays or 10 AM- 3 PM Saturdays).
Coaching Pathways:
As a Code Coach, you'll mentor young learners through one of our teaching modalities, based on your expertise, interests, and schedule: Code Coaching™- Personalized Learning Experience One-on-one or one-on-two immersive coding sessions Guide beginners through visual programming in Scratch or Snap Mentor advanced students in Python, JavaScript, or specialized languages like Java, C++ Co-design projects that align with students' interests while following our proven curriculum frameworks Code Class™
- Structured Learning Experience Facilitate curriculum-driven classes with higher student-to-coach ratios Deliver engaging content in an interactive group setting Guide students through sequential skill-building activities and projects
