A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated General Education Teacher specializing in Health at a bustling junior high. Responsibilities include:
Delivering engaging health curriculum to junior high students Creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom atmosphere Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback Collaborating with fellow educators and school leadership to support academic and personal growth Developing lesson plans and materials appropriate for diverse learning styles Participating in staff meetings, parent conferences, and professional development Managing classroom routines and maintaining clear expectations Preferred qualifications: Valid teaching license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required Previous experience teaching general education or health strongly preferred Passion for helping students build life-long healthy habits Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to adapt instruction for varying abilities and learning styles Professional, reliable, and committed to full contract dates (August 17, 2026-May 21, 2027) This full-time, on-site contract spans the entire school year, with an estimated workload of 33.75 hours weekly.
