Job Description

Step into a highly rewarding role supporting the academic growth of middle school students as a contract General Education Teacher specializing in Science. This onsite position offers the opportunity to inspire learners by delivering engaging science curriculum within a dynamic classroom environment. You will work 33.75 hours per week during the academic year, from August 17, 2026, to June 2, 2027. The focus will be on guiding middle school students through exciting science concepts with proven teaching methods and innovative pedagogy.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Professional Educator License (PEL) Previous experience teaching Science to middle school students is required Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to foster a supportive, stimulating learning atmosphere Passion for science education and supporting diverse learning styles
Role Responsibilities:
Teach science curriculum and related content to middle school students in a classroom setting Prepare and deliver lessons using effective instructional strategies Support students' understanding and application of scientific concepts Utilize creative teaching approaches to engage and motivate learners Assess and monitor student progress, providing guidance based on individual needs Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school-based initiatives as required This contract opportunity comes with several valuable benefits.
