This full-time contract opportunity is perfect for dynamic educators who thrive on fostering curiosity and achievement in the classroom. As a Science Teacher for high school students, you will create and implement lessons in alignment with curriculum standards and collaborate closely with colleagues to promote a positive and stimulating learning environment. This role runs from early August through late May, following the school calendar for a true academic-year experience.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Active Louisiana Department of Education teaching certification (not TAT); applicants must hold full credentials upon applying Solid background teaching general education science at the high school level Capacity to manage classroom dynamics, motivate students, and develop creative lesson plans Willingness to participate in and satisfy district-required drug screening and fingerprinting, in addition to standard credentialing checks Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other educators and parents
