IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate should:

Be energetic, motivated individual to work with collaboratively with the grade level team members.

Have a strong background in the content area

Be passionate and enthusiastic educator who can motivate students to discover their creative potential.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in working with middle school students in a public school setting preferred

Knowledge of curriculum frameworks

Able to take direction from subject Supervisor

Able to work with High School students

Able to assess students and effectively plan instruction

Possess excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Ability to successfully collaborate with colleagues.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are a must.

Able to take direction from subject Supervisor

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred.

Certified in Massachusetts as High School Science teacher or Biology required

SALARY & BENEFITS

Per agreement between the Georgetown School Committee and Georgetown Education Association.

Eligible for health insurance

Contractual sick days and personal days
