In person About the Position Teachers Now is seeking a motivated and dedicated School Interventionist (Science/Biology) to join the team at Frontier STEM High School for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and helping high school students achieve academic success. The interventionist will work closely with teachers and school staff to provide targeted academic support, strengthen students' understanding of Science and Biology, and help address learning gaps. The ideal candidate will create an engaging and supportive learning environment while helping students build confidence, improve academic performance, and develop essential scientific reasoning and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities Provide targeted small-group and one-on-one academic intervention in Science and Biology. Reinforce grade-level concepts, including life science, scientific inquiry, and laboratory skills. Help students strengthen their critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities. Identify individual learning needs and provide appropriate academic support. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of academic growth. Create a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation. Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff to support instructional goals and student achievement. Adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse student learning needs. Encourage student confidence, engagement, and a positive attitude toward learning. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. A degree in Science, Biology, Life Sciences, Science Education, or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of the high school Science and Biology curriculum. Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively with students in both small-group and individual settings. A passion for education and helping students succeed academically. Previous teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or academic intervention experience preferred. Why Join Teachers Now?
