Job Description

Job Summary St Paul Catholic School, St Paul is seeking a dynamic and faith-filled STEM/Computer Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. The ideal candidate will foster a love of learning and innovation in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math, while integrating Catholic values throughout the curriculum. This educator will be responsible for developing engaging, standards-based lessons that challenge and inspire students Job Responsibilities Design and deliver high-quality instruction in STEM and computer science aligned with state standards and Catholic school curriculum guidelines.
Integrate Catholic teachings and values into lessons, fostering a classroom environment rooted in faith, respect, and academic excellence.
Teach a variety of topics such as coding, robotics, digital citizenship, computer literacy, engineering design processes, and math/science enrichment.
Maintain a safe, organized, and technology-rich learning environment.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students.
Collaborate with faculty to integrate STEM learning across other subject areas.
Supervise and maintain classroom equipment, such as computers, tablets, and robotics kits.
Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback to students and parents.
Participate in school-wide events, professional development, and faculty meetings.
Support the mission and vision of the Catholic school and model Catholic values in all interactions.
Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Education, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field (Master's degree preferred) Valid teaching credential (or eligibility to obtain one) preferred Previous teaching experience in STEM or computer science preferred Practicing Catholic in good standing is preferred, but not required Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills Proficiency with educational technology tools, coding platforms (e.g., Scratch, Python), and robotics (e.g., LEGO Mindstorms, VEX, etc.) Passion for teaching and faith-based educationThe Archdiocese of St. Louis Catholic Education and Formation is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
