Foster a nurturing and trusting academic environment Implement the New Jersey Learning Standards and delivery of daily academic instruction. Develop learning activities and use differentiated instruction to meet the needs of diverse student learners Exercise open and respectful communication with families, co-workers, supervisors, and other school staff; Measure progress and accomplishments of students towards their achievements on IEP goals and objectives on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required. Contribute to the development of IEPs by writing narratives for the PLAAFP and updating goals and objectives. Collaborate with colleagues in Professional Learning Communities, staff meeting, and district workshops to further advance professional development Utilize technology effectively in daily lessons, including gathering and managing student data as required by the district and school administrator Provide a safe, thriving, and respectful environment for all students in the classroom and on the school campus.Qualifications:
NJDOE CE/CEAS/Standard certificate in K-6 with subject matter specialization: Science Specialization in Grades 5-8 (#1103); NJDOE Special Education Teacher certificate (TOH or TOSWD #2475); Middle School teaching experience preferred; Knowledge of effective/creative instructional strategies and differentiation of instruction Excellent written and oral communication skills, flexibility, and ability to collaborate with colleagues both inside and outside of theScience Department and Special Services Working Conditions:
