09/21/2026 Biology Teacher, Manville High School, Maternity Leave Replacement position, on or about November 23, 2026 through April 5, 2027 Manville School District is seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and passionate interim high school Biology Teacher to serve in a maternity leave replacement role at Manville High School. The ideal candidate will inspire students' curiosity about the life sciences while fostering a supportive and engaging classroom environment.Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver interactive, standards-aligned Biology lessons that encourage critical thinking and scientific inquiry. Collaborate effectively with co-teachers and support staff to adapt instruction and meet diverse learning needs within an inclusive setting. Utilize classroom management strategies that create a structured, positive, and safe learning space. Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and administration to ensure academic progress and continuous support during the transition period. Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate grading and attendance records.Qualifications:
Valid New Jersey Teaching Certification for Secondary Science / Biology (or eligibility). Strong foundational knowledge in Biology and a commitment to fostering student success. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to seamlessly integrate into an established curriculum and maintain instructional continuity. Salary in accordance with the Manville Education Association. The annual salary range is commensurate with education level and years of experience, starting at $66,705 (minimum) to $95,850 (maximum).Benefits:
