Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Computer Teacher to inspire students and foster their interest in technology and science. In this role, you will deliver engaging lessons that integrate cutting-edge educational technology, develop comprehensive curricula, and support students' academic growth across various scientific disciplines. Responsibilities Design and implement innovative lesson plans that incorporate educational technology and align with curriculum standards for computer science and science subjects. Deliver engaging classroom instruction to students from diverse cultural backgrounds, adapting teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles. Develop and evaluate curricula for courses in mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, and related scientific fields, including advanced topics such as genetics, molecular biology, organic chemistry, calculus, differential equations, and discrete math. Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques. Assess student progress through standardized testing, project evaluations, quizzes, and assignments; provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, curriculum implementation, educational technology integration, and instructional design initiatives. Mentor students in research projects or scientific research activities; support extracurricular activities such as tutoring or library services related to STEM education. Ensure compliance with educational regulations and standards while maintaining high-quality instruction for middle school and high school levels. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with advancements in educational technology and pedagogical best practices. Experience Proven teaching experience in classroom settings at middle school or high school levels with a focus on science or mathematics education. Demonstrated expertise in teaching complex topics such as trigonometry, calculus, organic chemistry, biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, microbiology, cell biology, differential equations, discrete math, and other STEM subjects. Experience developing curricula that incorporate learning technology tools and implementing IT-integrated lessons effectively. Strong classroom management skills coupled with the ability to adapt lessons for diverse student needs and learning styles. Background working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds; experience working with special education or private school environments is a plus. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and educational compliance requirements. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, mentoring students, and engaging parents or guardians when necessary. Prior involvement in research laboratory settings or scientific research projects is advantageous for enriching classroom instruction.
