CHEMISTRY TEACHERS!
Are you ready to join a team of exceptional certified educators at Paterson Public Schools - the third largest school district in New Jersey? We are looking for teachers who are experts in their content area, are committed to improving student achievement, and will bring enthusiasm to the classroom. To be considered for an interview, please apply! We are seeking highly motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic certified educators for the 2026-27 school year. We are accepting resumes for bilingual teachers certified by the State of New Jersey to teach in our bilingual classrooms at various grade levels and content areas, in Spanish or Turkish and English. Viable candidates must hold certificates issued by the New Jersey Department of Education, or meet the requirements for certification, with an endorsement in Chemistry or Physical Science .
Qualifications:
Must hold New Jersey Chemistry or Physical Science certificate Knowledge of the NJSLS and NJSLA Ability to analyze and use data to drive instruction Experience working with students Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and good moral character Must be a critical thinker, problem solver, and respect others Must be computer literate and able to use interactive computer instructional software Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, and the community For more information about this position, please visit the Job Descriptions page.
