  • Contract Job Overview We are seeking a passionate 6th grade Science and Mathematics Teacher to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate. Renaissance Academy is a NM PED Spotlight School where middle school is done differently. Text our Director, Jonas Cossey, at 505-321-2154, to discuss how the school culture and work climate supports both new and experienced teachers. This role involves delivering engaging lessons that foster a love for mathematics and supporting ALL students' academic growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various mathematical disciplines, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment. Responsibilities Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating innovative teaching methods and learning technology to enhance student engagement. Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to ensure mastery of concepts. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment conducive to collaboration and inquiry. Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects, participate in curriculum development, and share best practices in instructional design.
