Role:

As a Middle School Science Teacher at Yeshiva Day School of Las Vegas, you will be responsible for teaching science to students in grades 6-8. Your primary focus will be on creating engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills. You will also be expected to collaborate with other teachers to develop curriculum, assess student progress, and provide individualized support to students.

Responsibilities:

Teach science courses to students in grades 6-8, including biology, chemistry, and physics Develop and implement engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents Collaborate with other teachers to develop curriculum and assess student learning Provide individualized support to students who require extra attention Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices in science education
