The Department of Chemistry and Physics at Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor of Chemistry at Yukon High School to serve within the PATHS program (Pursuing an Associates Through High School).
Description of Job Duties:
The Department of Chemistry and Physics at SWOSU seeks qualified individuals to serve as a part-time, Adjunct Instructor of Chemistry. Teaching responsibilities include General Chemistry 1004 lecture and lab. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Meeting established student learning objectives for
CHEM 1004/1004L.
Maintaining weekly office hours appropriate to course load. Participating in early grade alert systems and assessing student outcomes. Participating in departmental assessment.

Education and Experience Education and Experience A graduate degree in Chemistry or 18 hours of graduate credit in Chemistry is required. Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred. Technological competence and experience in the LMS Canvas is preferred.
