What You'll Bring:

Valid teaching license in the State of South Carolina State certification in Middle Level Science or Sciencethese credentials are required for consideration Proven experience or genuine enthusiasm for teaching science at the middle school level Adaptable approach to classroom management and instruction Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and colleagues

Role Highlights & Responsibilities:

Teach general education Science classes to middle school students, developing lesson plans that support diverse learning styles and meet curriculum standards Create a dynamic, inclusive classroom environment that sparks scientific inquiry and fosters academic achievement Assess and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed to ensure student success Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and administrators to enhance the overall educational experience Participate in school events, meetings, and ongoing professional development to stay current and engaged This position provides a rewarding, consistent scheduleMonday through Friday, 7:15am to 2:45pm, for a total of 37.5 hours per weekoffering work-life balance throughout the academic year.
