Category Schools - General Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling role as a Middle School Science Teacher supporting students' curiosity and growth in a dynamic educational setting. This contract opportunity runs full time from ASAP through May 21, 2027, perfectly suiting educators eager to make a lasting impact over multiple school years. Working Monday through Friday, you'll inspire learners during the school day from 7:15 am to 2:45 pm with a 37.5-hour work week.
Key Qualifications:
Hold an active South Carolina teaching license Certified to teach Middle Level Science or Science in South Carolina (no exceptions) Experience or passion for working with middle school-aged children Strong classroom management and communication skills Dedication to fostering an engaging and inclusive science learning environment
Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver standards-based science instruction to middle school students Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that spark scientific curiosity Assess student progress and adapt instruction to meet diverse needs Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and parents to promote student success Maintain accurate records, including attendance, grades, and assessments Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school initiatives
