Part-Time Faculty Pool, Teacher Candidate Supervisor

Job Description Provides mentoring and support to Residency/Student Teacher candidates under supervision. Must visit and supervise teacher candidates in area schools. Participates in the collection of data associated with residency and/or student teaching.

Future assignments are on a term-by-term basis, which may include fall and spring. At time of application, applicants should be prepared to upload a cover letter, resume/CV, references list and an unofficial transcript. Qualifications Master's degree in a teaching discipline. Must provide evidence of successful P-12 school teaching experience of 4 years or more. Must have reliable transportation to visit and supervise teacher candidates in area schools. Must own or have access to a computer and be familiar with Microsoft Office Software and email. Must be familiar with edTPA or be willing to participate in edTPA training. Must be familiar with the State Teacher Evaluation System or be willing to participate in State Teacher Evaluation System Training. Must attend the Spring Reception for Residency Mentor Teachers. Selected candidates must agree to and pass a criminal background check in order to be employed.
