COMPUTER SCIENCE INSTRUCTOR
- After School and Camps Position Overview Looking for High School or College Students to join us for an exciting opportunity to help teach K-9 students fundamentals of computer science and programming. The instructor is responsible to deliver coding curriculum. They will help create a fun learning experience for the students. This is a great job opportunity to gain relevant work experience, develop soft skills and leadership skills. Incentivized pay and flexible hours. Classroom management and curriculum training will be provided. Key Responsibilities Teach and educate students according to curriculum and industry standards. Manage a fun and orderly classroom at all times. Provide feedback about class material and student dynamics in weekly email updates. Provide weekly communication and updates to parents. Qualifications Have a positive attitude, outgoing personality and possess excellent people skills. Demonstrate hobbies such as robotics, gaming, coding, or digital arts. Ability to work with students ranging from K-9. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Experience in languages such as Scratch, HTML, CSS, Javascript and Python. Familiar with React, Blender, 3D modeling software. Experience in tutoring and working with students in a camp setting.
