T26/27 SCIENCE TEACHER
(ACHS) Arlington Public Schools - VA - 4.2 Arlington, VA Job Details Full-time 12 hours ago Qualifications Teaching biology Full Job Description This is a 1.0 position at
Arlington Community High School Qualifications:
Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure in Biology. Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area, is preferred but not required
Experience:
Teaching experience in the above mentioned areas. Knowledge of best instructional practices. Ability to integrate technology.
Responsibilities:
Implements instructional programs that meet the needs, interests and abilities of students using appropriate instructional materials. Maintains safe and orderly environment. Communicates with parents/guardians. Maintains complete and accurate student records. Collaborates with school administrators, other teachers, instructional assistants, parents, and community members. Monitors and assesses student achievement. Attends ongoing professional learning and meetings.
Salary:
Salary will be based on the
FY2026-27
salary schedule.
