Job Description
Our program is unique, in that we offer enrichment programs on-site at preschools, childcare centers, or after-school programs throughout the Maryland, Washington DC and Northern Virginia communities. We have been able to work with over 200 programs and counting. We are advocates for fun and have a passion for facilitating hands-on activities in 6 different subjects: Spanish Science Music Fitness Dance Little Builders We curate our lessons for both the students and instructors. We want our students to walk away excited about their next class with FuNation and our instructors fulfilled in the role they play in each students' experience. Is this the right fit for you? Little Builders Educator:
A typical organization of the day will vary based on the school that you are paired with, however, will have the same elements to each class. You will bring our lesson plans that you have reviewed, along with the materials provided, and set up in an area of the school. You will use your experience and positive energy to facilitate the activities while asking thought-provoking questions and maintaining engagement. You will most importantly, have fun! Our Little Builders Educators are leaders but are also life-long learners and don't mind being just as immersed in the activity as we want our students to be.Logistics / Requirements
Must complete state/federal background check, fingerprints, First Aid, and CPR training Must have reliable source of transportation/valid driver's license Benefits Lesson plans and materials provided for each class Experience working in a classroom setting Reimbursement for travel expenses Ongoing professional development Schedule and Hourly Rate This is a part-time position; you are expected to work approximately 2-10 hours a week. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays during school hours. •Hourly Rate:
$25/hr., plus $25 travel stipend per locationJob Type:
