Job Description
Position Description The Department of Biology at Seattle University invites applications for a full-time Instructor position for the 2026-27 academic year. This position is a temporary replacement for current faculty on sabbatical leaves. We are seeking an instructor to teach some combination of introductory courses (BIOL 1610+1611, 1620+1621, 1630+1631), majors courses including genetics, anatomy and physiology, virology, and cell biology, and/or non-majors courses on cancer biology or global health. Specific course assignments will be determined based on the candidate's expertise and departmental needs. Ideal candidates will demonstrate expertise in a relevant field of biology and a commitment to undergraduate education and teaching excellence. Minimum requirements include a Masters degree, or equivalent, in a relevant biological field and undergraduate teaching experience.
Salary Range:
$55,000- $61,000, dependent on experience

Salary Range:
$55,000- $61,000, dependent on experience.
