The Department of Physics at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, is seeking instructors to teach introductory physics laboratory courses for majors and non-majors. The successful candidate will have the enthusiasm, classroom presence and skills to engage students in active learning and should be committed to pursuing excellence in teaching and promoting an inclusive learning environment. Ideal candidates will have experience teaching and mentoring undergraduate students of all backgrounds. Teaching of introductory physics lab courses, in person and on campus. All equipment will already have been set up by a colleague.- (Essential) Grade lab assignments and provide feedback to students; submit mid-semester and final grades via Canvas

Minimum Qualifications:
- M.S. in Physics or closely related field (or equivalent)
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness, including the ability to effectively respond to the academic needs of learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Evidence of the ability to use effective classroom strategies and pedagogies to advance equity, inclusion, and belonging.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. (or equivalent) in physics or closely related fieldEducational Requirement:
