intern UC Santa Cruz Strength and Conditioning is now accepting positions for Fall 2026 Internship positions. This internship provides hands-on experience working with NCAA Division III student-athletes. Interns will get the opportunity to Learn, Develop, Coach, and build the skills needed to move them up into the field of Strength and Conditioning and related fields. This internship provides hands-on experience working with NCAA Division III student-athletes. Interns will learn Exercise Technique and Coaching, Program Design, Athlete Data Collection, Career Preparation, and various other related topics. Interns will have the chance to stay on for future quarters and gain additional responsibilities. This is an unpaid internship . Applicants are strongly encouraged to ensure the position is financially feasible prior to applying. Academic Credit can be arranged if needed. Responsibilities Assist with daily strength & conditioning sessions Set up and break down equipment Learn proper coaching techniques and exercise instruction Assist with speed, agility, and conditioning sessions Help collect and organize athlete testing data Maintain a safe, organized, and professional training environment Participate in weekly educational meetings and coaching development sessions
Qualifications Preferred:
Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Biology, or related major Pursuing CSCS / USAW or related certifications Strong work ethic and Ability to communicate professionally Desire to Pursue a Career in Strength and Conditioning or Related Field Ability to Commit to 8-12+ Hours a Week over the 10-
