We're looking for a warm, patient, and enthusiastic chess coach to lead after-school group classes for young learners, helping them build focus, logic, and confidence through structured, play-based lessons. What You'll Do Lead engaging, play-based after-school chess classes for children ages 4-14 Teach fundamental concepts — piece names, movement, basic rules, tactics — through games, puzzles, and structured activities appropriate to each age group Foster early cognitive skills through chess: focus, memory, problem-solving, and patience Follow SV Chess Academy's provided curriculum and teaching resources (training included) Manage classroom behavior and keep sessions structured and engaging for groups of students Provide brief updates to parents on student progress when relevant
