Job Summary Private Coaches are expected to listen and understand what their client(s) are seeking during a private lesson or over a series of sessions. We are actively looking for a quality coach who can consistently deliver a transformative experience to their clients.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Respond to inquiries and schedule sessions independently that meet the client's criteria by email, phone or in person. Monitor client's energy levels and support the athlete while promoting our core values. Be curious and ask questions to further your understanding of what the client is hoping to gain. Ability to develop coaching plans for a broad range of clients. Present a plan for how that session or a series of sessions could progress over time. Provide a transformative experience for the client. Document private sessions thoroughly & consistently via the processes outlined to support the program department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge and experience in climbing instruction commensurate with the level for which you're hired. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with athletes, coaches, parents, and gym leadership. Strong organizational skills to manage client scheduling and admin responsibilities as needed.

Able to teach content from:

Intro to Rope and Bouldering. Basics from Intro to Tech. Could provide personal lead belay but not required. Limited or no experience with private coaching and/or admin time required.

This is a part-time hourly position with a starting pay range of $21.33/hr - $24/hr depending on the evaluation of your coaching skill set. Applications will be accepted until 10/1/26.
