About the
Role:
Cal Elite, a premier gymnastics business located in Santa Clarita and Burbank, CA, are looking for a Youth Gymnastics Instructor where you will coach, inspire and empower young students to achieve their full potential. This is an exciting opportunity to work with passionate children in a fun and energetic environment and give yourself an exciting career path.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging gymnastics lesson plans for youth of varying skill levels. Provide hands-on instruction and feedback to enhance students' techniques and performance. Ensure a safe and positive training environment for all participants. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting training methods as needed. Encourage teamwork and sportsmanship among students during classes and events. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Assist in organizing and participating in gymnastics events and competitions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gym and equipment.
Requirements:
Previous experience in gymnastics coaching or instruction is preferred but not required. Strong understanding of gymnastics techniques and safety protocols. Ability to work well with children and create a fun learning atmosphere. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. CPR and First Aid certification is a plus. Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Passion for gymnastics and youth development. Must be reliable and punctual.
Schedule Requirements Weekdays:
Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM - 7:30
PM Weekends:
One weekend shift required (Saturday 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM)
