We host in unique learning environments. We create a warm, community-driven space where children thrive academically, socially, and spiritually.
Position Summary:
We're hiring a creative and committed Learning Guide to lead a small group of K-8th grade scholars in core subjects, project-based learning, and life skills. Ideal candidates are passionate about education, love working with kids, and can thrive in a flexible, multi-age learning environment.
What You'll Do:
Facilitate engaging lessons in Math, Reading, Science, and STEM Lead hands-on, project-based activities aligned with monthly field trips Support a nurturing, Christ-centered learning environment Collaborate with parents and staff to support student growth Assist with planning and supervising field trips and events Foster leadership, curiosity, and confidence in each student Teach a special skill
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree (preferred) relevant teaching/tutoring experience (Required) Passion for faith-based, child-centered education Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to teach multi-age groups and adapt instruction Experience with microschools, homeschool settings, or enrichment programs is a plus Must be dependable, flexible, and energetic Why Join LDLA?
