In this role, you will lead fun, energetic practices and games that promote physical activity, strategic thinking, and positive social interactions. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help foster a love for sports while ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. Responsibilities Plan and execute engaging flag football practices and game sessions tailored to various age groups and skill levels Teach fundamental football skills such as passing, catching, running, and flag pulling with clear instructions and demonstrations Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behavior among participants through effective behavior management techniques Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including proper equipment use and injury prevention measures Provide constructive feedback to help players improve their techniques and confidence on the field Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding participant progress and program updates Maintain a clean, organized playing area and ensure all equipment is in good condition for safe use Qualifications Prior experience in sports coaching, teaching physical education, or working with children in recreational settings Knowledge of flag football rules, strategies, and safety standards Background in other athletic disciplines like basketball or cheerleading is a plus Experience in childcare or working with students to foster a positive learning environment Strong skills in behavior management to motivate participants and handle diverse group dynamics effectively Ability to demonstrate leadership while maintaining a lively, energetic approach that encourages participation and fun Certifications in first aid or CPR are preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is advantageous Join us as a Flag Football Instructor where your passion for sports meets the opportunity to make a lasting impact on young athletes' lives!
