Fitness & Wellness Instructors - Community Programs Florida Wellebing Co Orlando, FL Job Details Temporary | Seasonal | Contract $30 - $55 an hour 19 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Pilates Cardio training instruction Zumba AED Certification Full Job Description Florida Wellbeing Co. is seeking qualified fitness and wellness instructors for community-based programming throughout Greater Orlando and Central Florida. We provide professionally coordinated fitness and wellbeing programming for residential, active-adult (55+), and senior communities. We are seeking engaging, dependable professionals interested in recurring classes, specialty programs, wellness events, and substitute opportunities. Programs & Specialties We are currently seeking professionals qualified in one or more of the following areas: Group fitness and functional fitness Senior fitness / active aging Strength and conditioning Mobility, flexibility, and balance Yoga and chair yoga Pilates Aqua fitness / water aerobics Tai Chi and mind-body movement Dance fitness / Zumba Meditation and mindfulness Breathwork Healthy-aging and specialty wellness workshops You do not need to teach all of these formats. We welcome both specialists and multidisciplinary instructors. Qualifications Ideal candidates are professional, personable, reliable, and passionate about creating positive wellness experiences for residents.
Candidates should have:
Current certification or professional qualification appropriate to their area of instruction Current CPR/AED certification for fitness and movement-based programs Current professional/general liability insurance appropriate to the services provided Previous teaching, coaching, training, or group facilitation experience Experience working with adults 55+ or senior populations is highly valued Ability to safely adapt programming for varying fitness levels and abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional, dependable, and punctual conduct Reliable transportation Ability and willingness to travel to community locations throughout Greater Orlando and Central Florida Program Opportunities Assignments may include: Recurring weekly classes Fitness and wellness programs Specialty workshops Community wellness events Substitute instructor opportunities Short-term and ongoing community assignments Weekday morning and daytime availability is especially valuable. Compensation Competitive per-class and per-program compensation based on credentials, experience, program type, location, and assignment. Specific compensation, scheduling, location, and program expectations will be discussed before an assignment is accepted. About Florida Wellbeing Co.
