Seasonal Responsibilities:
Teach work readiness and basic employment skills to youth with disabilities. Lead structured camp lessons and interactive learning activities. Adapt instruction and activities to support different learning abilities. Supervise students during all camp activities and transitions. Ensure the safety and well being of all participants at all times. Monitor student behavior and maintain a positive learning environment. Take and maintain accurate attendance records for participants. Support students in developing confidence, independence, and teamwork skills. Communicate student progress or concerns with program coordinators. Assist with the preparation and organization of daily camp activities. Follow all organizational policies and camp safety procedures. Maintain confidentiality of participant information.
Qualifications:
Level 2 Background Check. Experience working with youth preferred. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required. Ability to lead groups and provide clear instruction. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patient, dependable, and attentive to student needs.
