Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Martial Arts Instructor /to inspire and guide students through their martial arts journey. This role involves delivering engaging instruction in various martial arts disciplines, including Tae Kwon Do / Krav Maga, and fostering a positive, disciplined environment for learners of all ages. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching physical skills, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to promoting health, fitness, and personal development. Responsibilities Lead dynamic martial arts classes, focusing on techniques, forms, sparring, and self-defense strategies across disciplines such as karate and other martial arts. Develop customized training plans tailored to individual skill levels and goals. Ensure a safe training environment by enforcing proper technique and behavior management. Teach students proper use of safety equipment, including AED operation and first aid/CPR procedures. Foster a motivating atmosphere that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth among students. Communicate effectively with parents and clients regarding progress, goals, and class schedules. Maintain accurate attendance records, progress reports, and safety documentation. Qualifications Proven experience in martial arts instruction, with proficiency in Tae Kwon Do or similar disciplines. Experience working with children in sports or educational settings. Knowledge of swimming, lifesaving skills (including lifeguard experience), and sports-specific training instruction such as soccer coaching or basketball is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage students of all ages. Certification in first aid and CPR; AED operation certification preferred. Background in sports coaching or team leadership roles; experience teaching physical education is a plus. Familiarity with behavior management techniques to maintain discipline during classes.
