Job Description

Flour Power Kids Cooking Studios East Cobb is currently seeking an experienced, energetic, hands-on, and outgoing assistant manager who loves working with kids to join our team. Our manager will oversee studio operations on the weekends and occasional weeknights. This includes managing a team of instructors, assisting with children's cooking classes, camps, events, and birthday parties, and ensuring all events run smoothly for our customers. Hours will vary week to week depending on the studio schedule. Additional hours will be available during school breaks and summer break (camps).
Responsibilities include:
Managing a team of instructors and ensuring they are delivering the highest level of service to our customers Interacting with parents at classes, events, parties, and camps Assisting the instructors with teaching when needed Providing real time training and feedback to instructors as needed Resolving problems and troubleshooting issues as they arise Ensuring the studio is kept clean and well maintained at all times Processing payments for events Taking photos at parties and events and uploading pictures to our social accounts Representing Flour Power at off site events throughout the area as needed Providing information to new customers on classes and events Ensuring staff maintain proper food safety and handwashing procedures Opening and closing the studio
Experience and Qualifications:
Must love working with children Teaching experience is preferred Excellent communication skills with both children and parents High attention to detail Ability to teach classes according to Flour Power Alpharetta lesson plans Excellent time management and self-accountability 2+ years of experience managing hourly employees Available to work evening and weekend hours (Friday-Sunday) Must pass a background check ServSafe Certified CPR Certified We look forward to connecting with you!
