Job Description
Youth Enrichment Instructor Bullwinkle Academy is an innovative weekend enrichment program designed to help children build confidence, curiosity, creativity, and meaningful friendships through hands-on experiences. Our mission is to create engaging opportunities that inspire children to explore new interests while supporting their social, emotional, and personal growth. We're looking for enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with children and want to help create memorable learning experiences. This is an excellent opportunity for educators, college students, youth leaders, recreation staff, and anyone passionate about making a positive impact. Responsibilities Lead engaging activities for children ages 5-12 Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment Assist with arts, STEM, outdoor exploration, games, movement, and creative projects Encourage teamwork, confidence, and positive behavior Communicate professionally with families and fellow team members Help prepare materials, set up, and clean up program spaces Represent Bullwinkle Academy with professionalism and enthusiasm Qualifications Experience working with children is preferred but not required Positive attitude and dependable attendance Strong communication and teamwork skills Creative, energetic, and patient Ability to pass a background check CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain) What You'll Gain Flexible weekend schedule Leadership and professional development opportunities Experience helping build a growing youth organization Opportunity for additional hours and advancement as programs expand The chance to make a lasting impact in the lives of children and families
