About Us Intercept MMA is one of the fastest-growing martial arts academies in the Chicago area. We provide structured training for beginners, recreational students, fitness members, children, and competitive amateur and professional fighters.

Position We are looking for a reliable, energetic instructor to help teach classes and contribute to an outstanding experience for our members. Depending on your experience, you may teach: Adult beginner MMA Striking Grappling Wrestling Kids classes Cardio Kickboxing Private lessons Specialty seminars Training in every discipline is not required. We value great coaches more than specialists. Responsibilities Lead fun, safe, and organized classes Create an encouraging environment Teach proper technique Help beginners feel comfortable Assist students in progressing toward their goals Maintain professionalism inside and outside the academy Arrive prepared and on time Help keep the facility clean and organized Support fellow coaches and staff Represent Intercept MMA positively in the community What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Passionate about martial arts Positive and coachable Reliable Professional Confident speaking to groups Comfortable teaching students of all skill levels Able to motivate others Patient with beginners Team-oriented Always looking to improve Experience in one or more of the following is preferred: MMA Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Wrestling Muay Thai Boxing Kickboxing Previous coaching experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
