Kids Play & Movement Instructor —
Part-Time Location:
Kentlands, Maryland Do you enjoy working with young children and bringing positive energy into a room? We are looking for a Part-Time Kids Play & Movement Instructor to lead fun, engaging physical activity classes for children ages 13-60 months (toddlers & preschoolers). Our classes use play and movement to help young children develop coordination, confidence, motor skills, and social skills in a safe and nurturing environment. Schedule Tuesday,Wednesday, Thursday & Friday Saturday Weekday morning/afternoon classes Saturday availability required Schedule may vary depending on class locations and program needs Age Group 13-60 months Responsibilities Lead fun, age-appropriate play and movement classes Keep children safe, engaged, and actively participating Create a positive, structured, and energetic class environment Lead interactive movement and play-based activities Communicate professionally and positively with parents and children Set up and clean up class materials and equipment Support occasional off-site classes as needed ✅ Qualifications Enjoy working with toddlers and preschool-age children Previous experience in childcare, teaching, coaching, or youth programs is a plus Experience in early childhood education, sports, martial arts, dance, or physical education is a plus No prior teaching experience is required — beginners are welcome! Patient, responsible, reliable, and punctual Comfortable leading a group of young children Positive attitude and energetic personality Strong communication and customer service skills Experience is not everything.
