The ideal candidate will have a strong background in martial arts, particularly in disciplines such as Karate and Judo, and possess the ability to educate and inspire students of all ages. This role involves teaching martial arts techniques, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive learning environment for students while ensuring their safety and well-being. Duties Instruct students in various martial arts techniques, including but not limited to Karate and Judo. Develop lesson plans that cater to different skill levels and age groups. Educate students on the principles of physical education, self-discipline, and respect. Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment. Organize and lead warm-up exercises, drills, and sparring sessions. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Promote a culture of safety by ensuring the proper use of equipment and adherence to safety protocols. Engage with parents or guardians regarding student development and progress. Assist in organizing events such as competitions or exhibitions to showcase student achievements. Experience Proven experience as a martial arts instructor or sports coach is preferred. Background in physical education or related fields is advantageous. Experience working with students in a childcare or educational setting is highly valued. Strong knowledge of behavior management techniques to effectively handle diverse classroom dynamics. Ability to climb, demonstrate techniques, and engage physically with students during training sessions.
