Job Description

Position Summary Knight Watch is seeking a dependable, energetic, and caring individual to lead our afterschool program. You will provide a safe, engaging, and positive environment for elementary school children. This role is ideal for students, retirees, or anyone looking to make a difference in children's lives.
Key Responsibilities Supervision:
Maintain continuous line-of-sight supervision of children at all times.
Safety:
Ensure all safety protocols, check-in, and dismissal procedures are strictly followed.
Activity Leadership:
Lead structured activities, including arts and crafts, group games, and outdoor play.
Homework Help:
Assist students with homework and offer basic academic support.
Behavior Management:
Encourage positive behavior using constructive, school-aligned discipline methods.
Snack Coordination:
Organize and distribute daily afternoon snacks.
Environment Care:
Help keep the program areas clean, organized, and welcoming.
Qualifications Experience:
Previous experience working with children (babysitting, camp counseling, or teaching) preferred.
Clearance:
Must pass a standard background check and fingerprinting.
Skills:
Strong communication skills, patience, and a high level of energy.
Reliability:
Punctuality is critical due to immediate student supervision needs at 3:15 PM.
Certifications:
CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus (or willingness to obtain).
