They mentor children, encourage families, build confidence, and become positive role models in our community. What You'll Do As a Martial Arts Instructor, you will: Lead high-energy martial arts classes. Teach students ages 4-12. Help students improve technique and confidence. Inspire children to believe in themselves. Encourage positive behavior. Create a fun, structured learning environment. Maintain a safe training floor. Assist with belt graduations. Help prepare students for tournaments. Support academy events. Build relationships with parents. Represent the Boyer Academy culture every day. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Loves working with children. Has a positive attitude. Is energetic and enthusiastic. Leads by example. Communicates well. Takes initiative. Is dependable. Is coachable. Wants to continue learning. Takes pride in helping others succeed. Martial arts experience is preferred. Teaching experience is a huge plus. But character, leadership, and the right attitude are more important than rank. We can teach great instructors martial arts. We can't teach people to genuinely care about others. Daily Responsibilities Teach outstanding martial arts classes. Arrive early and prepared. Learn student names quickly. Encourage every student. Keep classes fun and engaging. Help students reach individual goals. Maintain a clean and professional academy. Assist with events and tournaments. Work closely with the leadership team. Continue improving your own martial arts skills. Leadership Expectations Every instructor at Boyer Academy is expected to: Be the first to encourage. Be the last to complain. Lead with integrity. Set the example on and off the mat. Continue personal training. Be physically fit. Demonstrate professionalism. Be someone our students want to become. Children don't become what we teach. They become what they see. Student Experience Our instructors are expected to know their students.
