This energetic role involves teaching fundamental tumbling skills, ensuring safety, and creating a fun, positive environment that encourages physical development and teamwork. As a Tumble Instructor, you will play a vital part in helping students build strength, coordination, and self-esteem while promoting healthy habits and active lifestyles. Responsibilities Lead engaging tumbling classes for students of various ages and skill levels, focusing on safety and skill development. Demonstrate proper techniques for rolls, handstands, back handsprings, aerials, tucks, etc. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to all safety protocols, including proper use of mats and equipment. Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and celebrate achievements to motivate continued improvement. Assist with setting up equipment and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the training area. Promote teamwork, good behavior, and sportsmanship among participants to foster a positive class atmosphere. Requirements Prior experience in gymnastics, tumbling, or related sports such as cheerleading is preferred. Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of sports coaching techniques, including behavior management and motivation strategies. Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with children, parents, and team members. Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities while maintaining a fun and safe environment for all participants. Additional skills such as soccer coaching, basketball instruction, judo, karate or health club experience are considered valuable assets.
