This role involves teaching beginner-level riding skills to students of various ages in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in horseback riding, excellent communication skills, and experience working with children or students. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their coaching abilities and sharing their love of horses with others. Duties Conduct beginner horseback riding lessons, focusing on safety, basic riding techniques, and horse care fundamentals Develop lesson plans tailored to the skill levels of individual students Ensure all safety protocols are followed during lessons and activities Assist with horse grooming, tacking, and general care to promote responsible horsemanship Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement Maintain a clean and organized riding area and equipment Foster a positive learning environment that promotes confidence and enjoyment in horseback riding Engage with students to promote good behavior management and encourage active participation Requirements Prior experience or training in teaching physical activities such as sports coaching, swimming, martial arts, or gymnastics is preferred Experience working with children or students in educational or recreational settings Knowledge of behavior management techniques suitable for young learners Ability to communicate effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels Passion for horseback riding and a desire to share that passion with others Certification in child safety or first aid is advantageous but not required Prior experience in childcare or teaching physical education will be considered an asset This position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire new riders while developing your coaching skills within a supportive environment dedicated to safety and fun.
